I am giving away FREE race kits for NatGeo Earth Day Run on April 22, 2012.

The mechanics are:

  8. I’ll just walk or run or bike to my destination instead of riding a gas-powered vehicle… in that case, not only will I help reduce carbon gas emission, I will save up on my expenses as well.

  19. How will I save mother earth?

    Itapon ang kalat sa tamang basurahan, kung wala itago nalang muna ito, don’t waste wster and electricity.. And kung malapit naman ang pupuntahan maglakad nalang kaysa mag kotse or jeep pa…. It will help the environment and it will improve your health as well

  22. EDUCATE to ELIMINATE!

    Eliminate APATHY or mere lack of concern for Mother Earth. Because every action starts with the awareness that something is wrong and something has to be done. Influence, encourage and equip one person at a time, whether it be a family member, a co-biker, a close friend or somebody you happen to see throwing candy wrapper on the street:) Pro-activity is the key!

  31. 2. “How will you save Mother Earth?”
    The best way to save the earth is to change the way you live, and encourage others to do so as well. Some simply strategies include:
    * Recycle as much as you can
    *Reuse whatever you can
    *Reduce your energy usage
    *Buy locally made goods
    *Buy clothing and other household items used
    *Ideally, grow your own food
    *Turn out your lights when you don’t need them, and replace light bulbs with low-energy bulbs
    *Cut down on watering your lawn — plant native plants that don’t need to be watered
    *Reduce air conditioner/heater usage
    *Cut down on driving — carpool, walk, or bike whenever possible
    *Get active in the community! Encourage others to make these changes and start working towards a better, more sustainable world.
    * When not using electronics unplug them.
