Livestrong Day Philippines 2012

Livestrong Day Philippines is happening on October 21, 2012 at Circulo Verde in Quezon City. Last year, we had night bike ride but this year, the organizer prepares bike and run event.

Registration Fee is Php900 and participate in as many events as you want, get a one-time produced event jersey, food & drinks, Booster C energy shots, Ampalaya Plus products, a chance to get a free cancer screening session with Makati Medical Center and other stuff from sponsors.

Runrio Trilogy Awards Night

When I arrived at Decagon Silver City last February 20, I wonder, will there be star of night? Are Kenyans invited too? These questions are stucked in my mind as I approached the registration area of Runrio Trilogy Awards Night.

It was an overwhelming experience to see Coach Rio greeted and congratulate the awardees at the stage. I saw the youngest, to the oldest, to the fastest awardee of the night.

According to few runners I met in the lobby, the medal from Runrio Triology is described more than a finisher’s medal. More power to Coach Rio and Runrio Team, Unilab ActiveHealth and other sponsors, and the star of the night.. the runners! Congratulations. Hope to be see you on the next Runrio Trilogy on 2013.

Before I forgot, I would like to congratulate my friend Banjo Asiddao, Runrio’s Blogger of the Year. We love you and we are proud of you. Ikaw na!

Marshal Night at Tiendesitas

After the nightmare I had back in Gen. Trias during the Tour of Hope Prologue in the morning, time to relax and party with the rest of the Tour of the Fireflies marshal held last Saturday, May 7 at Tiendesitas in Pasig City. There were lots of gifts that have been raffled off from Firefly Brigade’s sponsors.

I would like to thank Enrique Pineda, President of Firefly Brigade, for giving me a chance to be a part of the historic event in the Philippines as a Tour of the Fireflies’ volunteer Marshal.
