Who Beat Coach Rio?

Safeguard Active hosted a very unique event dubbed “Beat Coach Rio” at Terra 28 Park, Bonifacio Global City, near Riovana last June 5. Coach Rio challenged the runners to beat his best time 2.30 seconds in a 20m dash and someone actually beat him, he was JP Sabido, Asian and World Taekwondo champ. The winner got Php20,000 GC from Riovanna and top 5 runners with best time got a brand new Go Pro Hero 2.

How to beat Coach Rio? I provided a short video I took at the event and watch how a sprint runner ran with virtual Coach Rio in a 20m wide projector screen.

Rain didn’t stop the runners and spectators to see the event and challengers. Some photos here.
