As a biker myself, I can just attest how hard it is to pedal from one point to another…imagine fifty minutes of non – stop cycling from our humble home in Sta. Ana, to my office in Parañaque. Its no “walk in a park”, both literally and figuratively. Now imagine combining swimming, biking and running. I’ve been wanting to be a triathlete myself, but but hey, its so beyond my limits 🙂
I am static with the much coveted Vaseline Men XTERRA Off-road Triathlon, upcoming this March 2 and 3 in Liloan, Cebu. Not only that i get to see the scenic Cebu again, but also, I will get to see professional and seasoned triathletes, giving their bests and conquering their limits! All I have to think now is getting there…and I am wishing that the event’s logistic partner, LBC will help me out on this. LBC was flawless last year as the official movement partner of race equipment, supplies, etc. etc! So LBC, move me 🙂
The Vaseline Men XTERRA Off-road Triathlon Championship in cebu will commence in two triathlon event on March 2: the XTERRA Lite, which involves a 500M swin, 20KM bike and 5KM run, and the XTERRA Philippines Championship involves a more gruleing challenge with a 1.5KM swim, 35KM bike and 10KM run; on March 3: the XTERRA will feature a demanding trail run courses in 21, 10, and 5 KM distances for both male and female categories.
