I wonder why cupcakes were quite costly than cakes when it were only a piece of cake. I have seen mouthwatering cupcakes in the one of the few establishments in Serendra and Alabang Town Center and they looked refreshing in the eyes, smelled delicious and cupcakes are well presented.
I tried it myself. I started with pre-mixes cakes then tried the cakes from the scratch. I googled recipes on the net. From chocolates to vanilla to red velvet to flavored cupcakes. I followed. I practiced. I failed. I learned. I made it perfect. After number of attempts, I found myself that I am loving baking. It was more therapeutic to me, I am relax when I am in front of the oven and waiting to see my cakes done.
Now, I understand why is it expensive, this is because of the effort of baker put in each cup of cakes.
